I read an article on Nintendo’s history and it talks about how in the 1800’s, Nintendo made love hotels and playing cards before making electronic games. The first handheld electronic game made was called, Game & Watch in 1980. Then later down the road they made the big games we know today like Pokémon, Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda. Baby Boomers and younger generations love Nintendo a lot because they most likely grew up using Nintendo’s consoles and playing their favorite games.

Grate summary of the artical! I did not know that NIN created the cards in the 1800’s and what were the graphics for the game and watch?

Dear Ismael,
I enjoyed reading this and learning more about Nintendo. I had one question while reading, what exactly is “Game & Watch” and what could you play it on? I hope that you are able to get back to me soon.
Sincerely Danny
